Angela is an associate forensic consultant with RELI. She specializes in forensic facial imaging and artistic visualisation in the 3D and 2D space.

Angela holds a Master of Science in forensic art and facial imaging, and has published research on the analysis of photographic and video evidence using novel computer software. She brings diverse experiences in anatomy, forensic identification, osteology, artistic communication, and digital software training to her work in forensic analysis and facial examination.

Angela has worked as a researcher, validating photogrammetry and laser scanning techniques to assess the accuracy of suspect height analyses using digital tools, and has worked as a university instructional assistant in 3D crime scene reconstruction and mapping. Her current research focuses on protocols for facial image comparison and facial approximation feature prediction and tissue depth.

Angela is currently developing two informational web resources – for practitioners and for general audiences – on forensic facial approximation standards and methodology. She is passionate about forensic identification, biological/paleo/evolutionary anthropology, archaeology, visual arts, and 3D technology, and finding innovative ways to integrate and communicate about these fields.
